Description
The Gascan is Oakley's wraparound rectangle: squared lenses set into a full frame, with wide, solid temples that curve back around the sides of the face.
This is polished black, gloss all over, with a grey Oakley icon set into the side. The lenses are a plain grey tint with no mirror, which dims bright light evenly without shifting colours.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. These are not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions. Worn at the highest level of sport and collected well beyond it.
