Description
The Gascan is a wraparound rectangle from Oakley, with squared lenses set into a full frame and wide, solid temples that curve back around the sides of the face.
This is matte black, with the Oakley icon on the side printed in the stars and stripes of the US flag. The lenses are a plain grey tint with no mirror, which dims bright light evenly without shifting colours.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. These are not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions. Worn at the highest level of sport and collected well beyond it.
