Description
The Gascan is a wide, flat-fronted rectangle that wraps at the sides: the frame carries on past the lenses into a deep, squared-off hinge, and the arms run straight back from there. It is a solid, low-slung shape with a full rim around two separate lenses.
Matte Black Camo is a camouflage print in black and charcoal grey, carried from the front right through the arms, with a silver metal Oakley icon set into each side. Prizm Deep Water is a pale blue mirror from the front and a warm copper tint from behind, the Prizm lens Oakley tunes for time out on open water.
It is polarised, so glare off water, wet road and glass is cut rather than only dimmed. The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the lens measures 60mm across.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
