Description
First released in 1994, the Eye Jacket helped define Oakley's retro-future look. The Redux brings the original's rounded rectangular lines back with modern materials and Prizm lens technology.
This is Yellow Bengal, a bright yellow frame covered in black tiger striping that runs from the brow around both rims and all the way down the temples. The Oakley icon on each temple is picked out in black, and the tips are black to match.
Prizm Black is a dark, neutral tint for bright light, so the lenses stay quiet and the stripe carries the look. Like every Prizm lens it is tuned to sharpen contrast rather than simply cut brightness. This pair is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions. Worn at the highest level of sport and collected well beyond it.
