Description
The Bisphaera Speed is a half-rim wrap. The rim runs along the brow and stops there, leaving the lower edge of each lens open, and the temples taper back to a thin blade so there is very little sitting in your peripheral vision.
Matte carbon photographs as a deep charcoal grey rather than a black, carried through the front and the temples, with a gold Oakley ellipse at each hinge that picks up the lens. The two lenses meet at a moulded nose bridge with the Oakley wordmark across it.
Prizm 24K is a gold mirror, closer to old gold than to yellow, over a warm brown tint you see from behind. It is polarised, so glare off water, wet road and glass is cut rather than just dimmed. This is the top of the Bisphaera Speed range.
