Rains Weekend Bags

The Hilo Weekend Bag is Rains' waterproof duffel and the one to know. It comes in three sizes: Small (18L) for a day trip or the gym, the standard 36L for a night or two away, and Large (47L) for a proper long weekend. All three share a full-length coated zip onto a single main compartment, side compression straps to cinch it down when it's half empty, webbing carry handles with a comfort wrap, and a detachable adjustable shoulder strap.

Two other weekenders sit alongside. The Otaru Weekend Bag Small is the cargo-style one: two exterior pockets, a grey lining so you can see what's in there, and a mix of Rains' PU fabric and waterproof woven polyester. The Valera Weekend Bag Small is the soft, relaxed one, with side buckles that let you clip it narrower or let it out, and slip and zip pockets inside.

The Hilo is cut entirely from Rains' signature waterproof PU fabric, smooth to the touch and cut for carrying strength, and it handles an Auckland downpour without looking like outdoor gear.

Colours run from the core Black, Navy, Green and Beige to seasonal drops like Bark, Cinder, Lucid and Envy. Core colours are restocked year round; seasonal ones are one run only, so if a colour is showing, that's the time.
