Description

Fucsia is Ray-Ban's name for it. In the hand it is a hot, saturated pink with a gloss finish, a thin white line piped around the front and gold dot rivets at the hinges.

The frame is the Wayfarer Puffer, the 1952 Wayfarer reworked with A$AP Rocky and moulded in nylon so the rim reads inflated rather than cut from a slab. The Ultra Black lens is flat and dense, which stops the pink tipping into costume.

AWGE branding is printed on the inner temple. Lens widths 47mm and 50mm.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
