Description
The Square is Ray-Ban's flat-fronted metal frame, a thin wire rim drawn as a square with softly rounded corners. Adjustable nose pads, wire temples, and a front that sits wider and straighter on the face than the round or aviator shapes.
This is Arista gold with G-15 green lenses. G-15 is Ray-Ban's classic green and lets through 15% of visible light, so it cuts brightness firmly while colours stay close to true. A finely beaded bridge sits between the lenses, and tortoise temple tips warm up the ends against the gold.
The lens is one solid tint from top to bottom rather than a gradient, and it is not polarised. One lens width, 54mm, which on a square front is a generous size.
