Description
The Rimless Pillow comes from the Ray-Ban x A$AP Rocky collection, and it is a true rimless build: the lens is drilled and screwed straight onto a gold saddle bridge and gold end pieces, with nothing wrapped around it. The name comes from the shape, a pillow rectangle with softly bowed sides and rounded corners rather than hard edges.
Arista Gold runs through the bridge, the end pieces and the wire temples, which finish in long clear tips. One tip carries an engraved signature mark, and the lens edge itself is finished dark so it draws its own outline where a rim would normally sit.
The lens is a gradient, deep raspberry across the top running to a pale peach along the bottom, so it reads redder than the Dark Violet name suggests. It is not polarised. The frame is metal.
