Description

The RB4469 is a browline shape from the Liteforce family. A matte brow runs across the top of the front and a fine rim traces the lower edge of each lens, which keeps the bottom half of the frame light.

This is the Sand Dark Blue colourway, a muted matte navy across the brow and temples with a fine silver lower rim, paired with grey gradient lenses that run from dark at the top to a softer grey at the bottom edge.

The lenses are polarised, so glare off water and road is cut rather than only dimmed, and the stamp inside the arm marks them lens category 3, for full sun. The frame is PEEK, a high-performance technical polymer, with adjustable nose pads on metal arms.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
