Description
The RB2226 is a clean, classic rectangle with a straight brow line, squared-off outer corners and softly rounded lower edges. A single oval silver rivet marks each front corner, and the Ray-Ban script sits on the outside of each arm.
This is the Transparent Violet colourway, a see-through lilac from the front through to the temple tips, clear enough to show the metal core running inside each arm. The violet lenses are a soft, muted tint, and the stamp inside the arm marks them category 2, a medium tint rather than a full-sun dark lens.
It comes in two lens widths, 54mm and 57mm. The frame is propionate, and the lens is not polarised.
