Description
The Mega Wayfarer takes the 1952 Wayfarer and scales it up. Same canted brow, same tapered corners, same rivets, but the rims are thicker and the front is deeper, so the shape carries far more presence on the face.
This is the Transparent Grey colourway, a clear smoke grey you can see straight through, carried from the front along the temples to the tips. Twin silver rivets sit at each front corner and a metal Ray-Ban plate runs along each arm. The Clear Gradient Blue lens is a soft mid blue across the top that fades to almost clear at the bottom edge, so it tints the view without hiding your eyes behind it.
The frame is propionate, and the inside of the bridge is stamped RB 0840S 6846/3F 51 21 145 2N, so the fit figures below come off the frame itself. The 2N marks a category 2 tint, one step lighter than a standard dark sun lens, and not polarised.
