Description
The Explorer 3 is a squared metal frame built on a double bridge, with a straight bar across the top and a second bar at the nose. The corners are rounded off rather than cut sharp, which keeps it closer to a clean rectangle than a classic aviator.
Gunmetal is the quieter of the two finishes it comes in, a dark warm grey that mutes the metal right down, run through the bridge, the top bar and the fine wire temples. Black tips finish the ends.
The lenses are blue, dark enough to read as near black head on and to show the colour only when the light comes through them. It runs in two lens widths, 56mm and 59mm.
