Description

The Erika pairs a soft rounded front with slim metal temple arms, so a generous lens ends up sitting light on the face.

This is the transparent blue colourway, a dusty slate you can see straight through, run against gold metal arms and dark blue temple tips. The gold is what keeps it from reading cold.

The lens is grey and polarised, darkest along the brow and easing off towards the bottom, so glare off water, road and windscreens is filtered out without the view picking up a colour cast.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
