Description

The Drea is an angular cat-eye cut in thin metal, with a brow that lifts to a point at the outer corner and a faceted lower edge rather than a curved one.

Dark green is the deepest of the green tints on this frame, a bottle tone that reads close to black head on and only shows its colour when the light comes through it. Against pale gold, which is a soft champagne rather than a bright yellow gold, it is the most traditional way the Drea comes.

Fine wire temples with black tips and a single slim bridge keep the frame light on the face. It runs in 53mm and 56mm lens widths.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
