Description

The Daddy-O is a full wraparound. Thick injected rims, a deep curve across the front, and temples that sit close to the head, so it reads as the sport-shaped end of the Ray-Ban catalogue rather than the heritage end.

This is the Rubber Black colourway, a soft-touch matte finish over the whole frame with green lenses. The matte black takes the shine off a shape that is already quite assertive, so the result is more understated than the gloss version.

The frame is injected nylon and the lenses block 100% of UV.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
