Description
The Clubmaster is Ray-Ban's browline frame, weighted across the top and open along the bottom edge of the lens. It arrived in the 1980s and has stayed in the range largely as drawn.
Black with dark grey lenses is the plainest read on it. Nothing to work around, and it sits as easily over a shirt as it does over a t-shirt.
One lens width in this colourway, 51mm, which is the middle of the Clubmaster run.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
