Description
The Chris is the squarer end of the Ray-Ban range, a flat brow and softly squared lenses set on a keyhole bridge, carried on slim metal temples rather than thick plastic arms. That combination is what keeps a frame this wide from feeling heavy.
Transparent Blue puts the whole front in clear dusty blue plastic, so light passes through the frame instead of stopping at it, and the gold-toned temples read warm against it. It is a lighter-handed way to wear a squared frame than the black version.
The lenses are grey and polarised, which takes out the flat glare that bounces off water, wet roads and car bonnets rather than simply darkening everything.
