Description

The Bold Metals Oval is a slim oval in gold metal, from the Ray-Ban x A$AP Rocky collection. Thin rims, a low flat bridge and a squared metal endpiece are the whole design, so the shape does the talking.

This is the Arista Gold colourway with brown lenses, a soft mid tint that warms a scene up rather than darkening it, and a natural match for the gold. Metal temples run back to tortoise acetate tips, with the AWGE mark on the inside of the temple.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
