Description
Ray-Ban has been building the Aviator since 1937, and the Large Metal is that teardrop at full size.
The lenses are the reason to pick this one. They are a copper mirror, warm rose pink across the middle turning gold towards the outer edge, so they throw colour back rather than reading as a flat chrome.
The frame underneath is a matte silver, left deliberately plain so the lens does the talking, with pale temple tips and clear adjustable nose pads.
