Description
The Latch is a soft round frame, slightly flattened across the top, with an open slot cut through the bridge above the nose. A slim plate wraps each hinge and carries the Oakley icon, and the arms run straight and clean back from there.
The front is matte black, and the arms carry a fine grey and white wave print from the hinge plates to the tips. Prizm Black is a dark, near-neutral lens with a light silver sheen on the outside, made for bright light.
They are polarised, so glare off water, wet road and glass is cut rather than just dimmed, and the frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions.
