Description
Oakley first released the Frogskins in 1985. It is a squared frame with a straight brow and a keyhole bridge, and the Oakley wordmark runs along each temple.
This is the Clear colourway, a crystal clear gloss front paired with solid hot pink arms, and the pink shows through the clear corners at the hinges. The wordmark on each arm is in white. Prizm Rose Gold is a pink mirror with a warm peach glow that reads brown from behind.
They are polarised, so glare coming off water, road and glass is cut rather than just dimmed, and Prizm keeps the contrast up so detail does not wash out. The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions. Worn at the highest level of sport and collected well beyond it.
