Description
The Flak 2.0 XXL is the larger version of the Flak 2.0 XL, the same half-rim sport frame with a 63mm lens against the XL's 59mm. The rim runs across the brow and down the outer edge, the lower edge of each lens is left open, and the two lenses meet at a moulded nose bridge.
This is the polished black colourway, gloss black from the brow through to the temple tips with an Oakley icon at each hinge. Prizm Golf is Oakley's lens for the course, tuned to lift the contrast between the ball, the grass and the sky. It shows a green mirror that turns violet towards the edges, with a rose tint from behind.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. The lenses are not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions.
