Description
The CYBR Lightning is a rimless one-piece shield. There is no frame above or below the lens: a single wide shield runs the full width of the front, the temples fix straight to its outer edges, and vents are cut through the lens at all four corners.
This is the grey colourway with a Prizm 24K lens. The temples are a frosted, see-through smoke grey with gold Oakley icons and a black nose pad, a gold line traces the inside of the lens edge, and the lens is a bright gold mirror over a warm brown base tint, with Prizm tuning the contrast rather than just dimming the light.
With no rim around the lens there is nothing crossing your view, and the frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. This colourway is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
