Description
The Batwolf is a one-piece shield with a deep notch cut into the bridge, so the lens reads as a single sweep across the face rather than two separate lenses. The frame wraps hard at the sides and the temples sit wide, which is why it has stayed a fixture in Oakley's lifestyle range rather than a sport-only frame.
This is Black Ink, a glossy black, with Prizm Black lenses. Prizm Black is the darkest tint in the Prizm range, made for bright open light, and it works on contrast rather than simply cutting brightness, so detail holds instead of flattening out.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own frame material, with the Oakley icon set into each temple in silver.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
