Description
The Lila Corset is the piece Miaou has built a quiet cult following on. A sheer mesh bodice with internal boning, demi cups and fine spaghetti straps, cut for a sculpted line through the waist without losing the softness of the fabric.
The body is sheer with strategic mesh paneling that holds shape while feeling almost weightless. Pair it under a tailored jacket for evening, or wear it as the main event with high waisted denim and a slip skirt. It sits squarely in the going out top category Miaou is recognised for, but with enough restraint to read elevated rather than costume.

About Miaou
Miaou was born in 2016 when LA-based designer Alexia Elkaim set out to make the perfect pair of pants. A Parsons graduate with a love of French things and cats (Miaou is how the French spell meow), she started sewing samples during her lunch breaks at a Midtown factory. The label is now recognised for figure-flattering denim, corset tops, and going-out pieces that blend vintage sensibility with modern femininity.
