Description
The pant that started it all. Gramicci built this shape in 1982 for climbers who needed to move, and the diamond gusset at the crotch is still the reason it works better than a normal trouser.
The nylon webbing belt is built straight into the elastic waistband, so you never need a separate one. The rise sits low and the leg is cut relaxed, tapering gently to roughly an 8 inch opening. Organic cotton twill softens with wear rather than wearing out. Black is the version that goes with everything and hides everything.
Forty years on, still the easiest pant in the wardrobe.

About Gramicci
Gramicci was born in 1982 when Yosemite rock climber Mike Graham started making his own climbing shorts and pants in California. His innovations, a diamond-shaped gusset for full flexibility and an integrated nylon webbing belt for one-handed adjustment, created what became known as the G-Pant. By the mid-80s, surfers and skaters had adopted the hard-wearing pants with the little running man logo, and by the 90s Gramicci had become a streetwear staple in Tokyo. Today the brand bridges outdoor performance and everyday style like few others can, with a following that spans climbers, city dwellers, and everyone in between.
