The System 19" Boardshorts are built from a premium poly–spandex blend with 4-way stretch, finished with a pigment-dyed vintage wash for that lived-in look. Delivered in Former’s standard 19" trunk fit, this pair features a signature velcro back patch pocket, Franchise F metal aglets on the drawcord and a fixed waist for a secure, streamlined feel.

About Former
Former was launched in 2017 by professional surfer Dane Reynolds, alongside Craig Anderson and skateboarder Austyn Gillette. After parting ways with Quiksilver, Reynolds wanted to build something independently, creating clothing that he and his friends actually wanted to wear. The result is a brand rooted in surf and skate culture but free from the cliches of either world. Former's aesthetic sits at the intersection of art, music, and riding, with a refined, understated edge that feels grown up without being boring.
