Description
Miaou's Deville is a modern read on the corset. A boned bodice built for shape, cut here in a stretch mesh printed with a mix of small and large polka dots on black. Architectural at the front, easy through the body.
The lightweight nylon-spandex blend moulds without pinching, and the print gives the piece a vintage lounge sensibility that pulls it out of after-dark territory and into daywear. Wear it under an open shirt, with tailored trousers, or with denim and a heeled boot for the going-out version.
A statement top that earns its keep season after season.

About Miaou
Miaou was born in 2016 when LA-based designer Alexia Elkaim set out to make the perfect pair of pants. A Parsons graduate with a love of French things and cats (Miaou is how the French spell meow), she started sewing samples during her lunch breaks at a Midtown factory. The label is now recognised for figure-flattering denim, corset tops, and going-out pieces that blend vintage sensibility with modern femininity.
