From the Butter Goods x Daniel Johnston collaboration, the Don't Be Scared Tee in Grape carries one of Johnston's most reassuring messages. Johnston was a beloved American outsider artist and musician whose lo-fi recordings and distinctive hand-drawn artwork built a devoted global following before his passing in 2019. His work often balanced vulnerability with encouragement, and this tee captures that spirit perfectly with screen-printed graphics on both the front and back.

The grape colourway sits somewhere between a dusty purple and a muted mauve, giving the piece a warm, vintage feel that suits Johnston's aesthetic. Built from a hefty 230gsm cotton, this is a tee with real substance. It drapes well and holds its shape wash after wash.
