Description
The RB2223 is a full-rim oval cut from chunky propionate, rounded rims set close together over a slim bridge. A small oval done straight, without the exaggeration the shape usually attracts.
This is the Havana colourway, the warm tortoise Ray-Ban has run for decades, carried the full length of the temples. The lenses are a grey gradient, dark across the top and clearing as they drop toward the lower rim, and they are polarised, so glare coming off water, road and glass is cut rather than just dimmed. The same Havana front also runs under 902/B1 with a flat dark grey lens and no polarisation, so the lens is the thing to check between the two.
Propionate is a light, slightly flexible plastic, which suits a frame this rounded. The lenses block 100% of UV.
