Mega Wayfarer II Sunglasses - Transparent Dark Blue/Clear Gradient Grey

The Mega Wayfarer II takes the angled trapezoid front of the 1952 Wayfarer and scales it up, with a thicker rim, a higher brow and more lens across the face. This is the low bridge fit version, which Ray-Ban cuts for a lower or flatter nose bridge and higher cheekbones, so the frame sits where it should rather than sliding down the nose or resting on the cheeks.

The front is a transparent dark blue, deep enough to read near navy in shade and clearly see-through once the light gets behind it, with the ribbed metal core showing through the temples. Silver rivets sit at the front corners and the Ray-Ban logo plate runs along each arm.

The lenses are a clear gradient grey, darkest across the top and lifting to almost clear at the bottom edge. That cuts the glare from above without hiding your eyes, which makes it an easy pair to wear in and out of the shade. They are not polarised, and it comes in one size, with a 55mm lens width.
