Description
The Aviator Max takes the teardrop shape Ray-Ban first drew for pilots in 1937 and sets it in a flat, broader metal rim. The double bridge stays, with adjustable nose pads below and straight metal temples running back to the tips.
This one is a Marvel edition, with ©MARVEL printed inside the temple and Captain America's star shield worked through the details. A textured navy wrap covers the top bar with the shield embossed at its centre, the shield appears again in white on one lens and on both clear temple tips, and each temple carries red, white and blue bands around a small white star.
The frame is silver and the lenses are a deep slate blue, even from edge to edge with no gradient or mirror. They are not polarised, and this colourway comes in 58mm only.
