Description
The Masseter is a high wrap from Oakley, with a rectangular lens on an 8-base curve set into a deep groove, a shape Oakley drew from its late '90s and early 2000s designs. The wrap is there to block glare coming in from the sides, and the wide, sculpted temples carry the Oakley icon on a raised boss at the hinge.
This one is matte black with the icon in gunmetal. Prizm Grey is a neutral grey tint with no mirror, which dims bright light evenly without shifting colours.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the lens measures 60mm across. These are not polarised, so Prizm is working on contrast alone.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
