Description
The Latch is a soft round frame, slightly flattened across the top, with an open slot cut through the bridge above the nose. A slim plate wraps each hinge and carries the Oakley icon, and the arms run straight and clean back from there.
This is the Matte Clear colourway, with one detail the name leaves out: the front is frosted clear, but the arms are a solid bright blue from the hinge back, with brushed silver plates and a blue Oakley icon at each hinge. Prizm Sapphire is a bright blue mirror that shifts to violet towards the outer edges and reads rose from behind, which ties in with the arms.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions.
