Description
The HSTN puts round lenses under a flat, angular brow. The top of each lens is cut straight across and the outer corners are faceted, so the front reads more geometric than a plain round, and each arm kinks in a sharp zigzag just behind the hinge.
This is the Matte Tortoise colourway, a warm brown and amber tortoise with a soft matte finish, carried right through the front and arms, with a gold-tone Oakley icon plate set into each arm. Prizm Black is a dark grey lens under a light silver mirror, the one to reach for in bright, open light, with Prizm keeping the contrast up so detail does not wash out.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
