Description
The HSTN is a round frame with a flat, faceted top: each rim is cut straight across the brow with angled shoulders, and a slim bar joins the two at brow height. Behind the hinge the arms step down in a sharp zigzag before running back to the ear, so the side view is as considered as the front.
This pairs a matte black front with frosted, see-through lime green arms. A yellow plate on each arm carries a black Oakley icon and a zigzag line graphic, and the Tour de France logo is printed near the lower edge of one lens. Prizm Jade is a green mirror that shifts to violet toward the outer edge.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, with nose pads set into the inner rims, and the lens measures 52mm across. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
