Description
Oakley's Frogskins were born in 1985 and remain one of the most recognisable shapes the brand makes: a squared frame with a straight brow, a keyhole bridge and straight temples carrying the Oakley wordmark.
This is the polished black colourway, gloss black from the front through to the temple tips, with the wordmark picked out in white. The lenses are a plain grey tint with no mirror, which dims bright light evenly without shifting colours.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. These are not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions. Worn at the highest level of sport and collected well beyond it.
