Description
The Frogskins Range is a reworked Frogskins, the Oakley shape first released in the 1980s: a wide, slightly sloping top line, softly squared lenses and a keyhole bridge. This version splits each arm into three sections, with a large OAKLEY wordmark up front, a pale band through the middle and a darker tip with a dotted grip texture.
This is the Matte Grey Smoke and Grey Ink colourway, translucent throughout, with the darker Grey Ink along the brow over a paler Grey Smoke through the lower rims. Prizm Ruby is a red mirror through the middle that runs to orange at the outer edges, reading a warm bronze from behind.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions.
