Description

The EVZero Blades is a rimless one-piece shield: a single wide lens with nothing above or below it, hung off slim temples. With no rim around the lens, there is very little frame anywhere in your view.

This is matte black with a Clear to Black Iridium Photochromic lens. It starts close to clear, as it is in these photos, and darkens toward black as UV hits it outdoors, so the same pair works from low light through to bright sun. Photochromic is printed along the lower edge of the lens.

A grey nose pad and grey sleeves on the temple ends sit against the matte black arms, with a silver Oakley icon at each hinge. The frame is O Matter, and the lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions. Worn at the highest level of sport and collected well beyond it.
