Stolen Girlfriends Club started in 2005 when three Auckland friends, Dan Gosling, Marc Moore and Luke Harwood, began printing tees as a natural extension of an art show that shared the brand's name. What began as a way to make the clothes they could not find has grown into one of New Zealand's most recognised independent labels. Rooted in punk romanticism and rock 'n' roll nonchalance, the brand spans fashion, fine jewellery and leather goods, earning features in Vogue UK and Harper's Bazaar and fans like Florence Welch.
