The Hakama Shorts in Black Wool bring a refined, modern edge to one of Checks Downtown’s most iconic shapes. Cut from a premium 50% wool and 50% cotton blend, this pair offers the perfect balance of structure and softness, creating a clean drape that feels effortless on the body. Inspired by traditional Japanese hakama trousers, the silhouette is wide, relaxed and architectural, giving you a contemporary short that moves with you.
This black wool fabrication elevates the classic Hakama fit, making it easy to dress up or down. Style them with tees, shirting or outerwear for a look that feels cool, considered and unmistakably Checks. As with all Hakama styles, the fit is generous and many customers prefer to size down, particularly at the upper end of the size range.
